COVID-19 (coronavirus) Patient Update

The Australian Dental Association (ADA) have been advised by the Australian Health Principal Protection Committee (AHPPC) that Level 2 restrictions should now be implemented due to the dramatic increase in detected Covid-19 cases in Victoria.

Level 2 Restrictions

DENTAL PROCEDURES WILL BE MODIFIED TO MINIMISE AEROSOLS. All NON-ESSENTIAL PROCEDURES WILL BE POSTPONED

Our approach to COVID-19

Social Distancing

  • In alignment with the Australian Government and their policy regarding social distancing, we are lengthening our appointment times to ensure the waiting room is not crowded at any time

Sanitation and Cleaning

  • Ensure all patients wash their hands thoroughly upon entering the premises and exiting the surgery
  • Regular antiseptic cleaning of commonly used areas such as the waiting room, reception area as well as all door handles and taps. This is done after every patient visit
  • All reading material and children’s toys have been removed from the waiting room to minimise the risk of cross infection
  • Infection control procedures within the surgery comply with the Australian Dental Association (ADA) protocols and remain unchanged
